The main downside to P90 is that each block only has 3 workouts, not counting Ab Ripper, and you repeat those over and over again. You still get a good workout if you can keep the intensity up. My wife's knees aren't great either so she usually just did toe taps or calf raises instead instead of jumping. There are also modifications for all of the plyometric moves. There's a lot of balancing and flexibility moves thrown in as well. The first block is relatively short and easy and then it progresses each month into the harder stuff. I was going to try Control Freak:Off the Wall but just read that it kills your shoulders. Let's Get Up! looks like fun but isn't available. I want to get back into it but now my muscles are back to blah. So even yoga (pigeon or cross-legged) is difficult.Īnyway.I had stopped BOD in March (according to the rings on my Apple watch) when the knee got bad. The knee is definitely from a tight muscle but only the chiropractor can loosen it and it goes right back to shit after a day. I never lost a pound when doing 21 Day but was stronger, and that was fine with me. lol After all of that I found out I'm pre-diabetic, and could stand to lose about 20 lbs. I'm 60 with neck, lower back and (now) a knee problem. I had started BOD in June 2020 and did 9 months of 21 Day Fix.
